I have been practicing psychiatry in Oregon since 1976, and have been Board-Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1978. I am a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

   I practice general psychiatry, treating adults, and have among my interests the treatment of:

• Depression and bipolar disorder

• Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, whether from childhood or adult trauma

• Addiction Psychiatry, specifically treating psychiatric conditions that  may complicate an individual's addictive disease

• Health Professional issues, including addiction and "burnout" concerns
